How to read a resistance values
Undoubtedly a resistance is the most using part in the electronics industry. And it is used in different applications in different places according to the resistance values. Resistance values can be measured with avometre.
But in human hands-on work, it takes a long time for the projects. Because of this situation, we can easily learn the resistance values by reading the color codes on the resistors.
There are different number of color bands on the resistances.
There are generally 4 or 5 band version but there are also 6 band version can be find. Each color indicate different values and meanings.
The color codes can be kept in mind with key citation in Turkish like “Sokakta Sayamam”.
How to read 4 and 5 Banded Resistors?
In 4 band resistors, the first two color Show coefficients and the third color multiplier and the last color shows the tolerance value.
In the case of 5 band resistors, the first three color indicate coefficients, the fourth color means multiplier, and the final color again show tolerance.
